Our "Greater Green Fashionistas" from East Stroudsburg High School South did a great job this past weekend with their recycle fashion show at East Stroudsburg University.
The “Recycling Runway,” fashion show at E.S.U.’s Earth Day Celebration was so much fun!
The students organized and featured models wearing reused, repurposed, and recycled fashions to raise awareness regarding the environmental degradation that is the result of fashion and textile production.
We want to thank Close the Loop, Waste Not Technologies, Pocono Community Access Television, Monroe County Municipal Waste Management Authority, C.C.F. Remodeling LLC and Monroe County Litter Control for their support and help. Without these community partnerships, our initiatives and work with the school district and the students would not be possible.
