Our Partnership with East Stroudsburg South High School and our 501c3!!!

Wow! We had an extremely successful event on January 14th where the kids from Patricia Tiernan's 10th grade English Class at East Stroudsburg South High School had a chance to show the community their hard work on the big screen at the Pocono Community Theater. There were over 200 people in attendance. We knew we had a lot of support within the community, but to actually see it with your own eyes....it was truly encouraging, amazing and brought tears to our eyes. We were so proud of what the kids had accomplished and I know they were proud of their hard work. It was a truly rewarding night for all involved in the process. Our community partners were very supportive and we want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts. They were instrumental in helping our youth with their documentaries. Parents showed their children support by coming out and you could definitely see how proud they were. There were just so many smiles out in the audience and the standing ovations let us know that the night was truly a huge success!

If that wasn't enough excitement, on January 20th, Youth Infusion received a letter from the IRS letting us know that we are an official 501c3. What does this mean? We can now accept contributions from our supporters and we are able to do so much more by applying for certain grants that will help support our mission and vision. We are so happy and hope everyone continues to support our efforts with our youth.
