BeNoBull Community Event - Thursday, May 20th, 2010

Our community’s young Agents of Change present “BeNoBull”, a documentary film created by East Stroudsburg High School South students to address the issue of bullying and to promote awareness of the lasting effects of bullying. Event to take place on Thursday, May 20th, 2010 from 7:00pm – 9:30pm at the Pocono Community Theater.

The film documentary speaks directly to youth and addresses several forms of bullying:

Verbal Bulling, Physical Bullying, Racial Bullying, Sexual Bullying, Cyber Bullying, Bullying Through Social Isolation/Exclusion, Bullying of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Youth.

A community forum which includes a panel of students and adults will directly follow the showing of the documentary.

An art exhibit depicting youth works that express student views of bullying and offer positive solutions through artistic expression will also be on display as well as a spoken word performance by local youth poets of Urban Mountain Voices.

Entrance to the showing is a suggested donation of $7.00 for Adults and Children and Students are FREE. Proceeds benefit Youth Infusion, Inc. and help further Youth Infusion’s programs and their work with the young men and women of NEPA. Sponsorship packages are also available.
